Mr. Chewning founded Cane Bay Partners in June of 2009 with his business partner, David Johnson. The company has been very successful in the field of financial services by assisting clients (CEOs and owners of other companies and businesses) with risk management models, debt collection, liquidation models, consultation, and portfolio management. Aside from running a successful company, Mr. Chewning assists his employees in various cases to make sure they are learning and providing the best expertise to their clients.
Life on St. Croix
Mr. Chewning is very active on the island of St. Croix. Aside from his professional life, Mr. Chewning is very generous and volunteers his time teaching students (of various age groups) important skills for those interested in the corporate world. He runs and assists in relief efforts for those affected by hurricanes and donates thousands of dollars to provide assistance to those devastated by natural disasters. His company started a charity called Can Bay Cares that provides funds and volunteers to various efforts, as well as a new after school program for public middle school students on the island.
When not working, he enjoys his life on the island very well. One of his favorite activities is bowling in a league on a weekly basis.
